Mid autumn and the river is already frozen over. This place is not very hospitalble to the kobold way of life! Our food storage had to be enlarged to accomodate all the new meat we purchased.
Another wagon has arrived, this time it was sent here from home. We have located a cave nearby with some loose stone. They have been allocated to making mechanisms for our outer wall.
Inside the cave we found some constructions of dwarven origin. After sending some fresh migrants down to have a look we have found an underground magma pool! Oh praise be to Yiplofrin the Passionate Petal! A decent source of obsidian will make us wealthy beyond normal kobold means!
